Hotel review

Review: Conrad Tokyo (Executive City View Room)

I stayed at Conrad Tokyo with "Impresario" plan in September 2021.

About Conrad Tokyo

This is a hotel of "Conrad" brand, which is one of the luxury brands of Hilton Hotel and Resorts.

Access to Conrad Tokyo

The nearest station is Shiodome Station on the Yurikamome Line, which is a 1-minute walk away, and it is a 7-minute walk from Shinbashi Station on the JR and Ginza and Asakusa subway lines, where you can avoid getting wet from the rain by taking the underground passage.

If you are coming from another city arriving at JR Tokyo Station, you can take a taxi from JR Tokyo Station if it is too much trouble to go to the nearest station with your luggage. It will take less than 10 minutes and cost about 1,000 yen.

The front desk is located on the 28th floor.

Complementary Room Upgrade

I had originally reserved a Bayview King Pure Wellness Room (with higher air quality than a regular Bayview Room with high performance air purifier, etc.).

But with the impresario program, I got a one rank upgrade and changed to an executive city room. The view is now on the building side, but I now have access to the Executive Lounge.

Note that I am also a Hilton Honors Gold member, so it is possible that the benefits of Hilton Gold membership worked for me.

Review of the Executive City View Room

I could enjoy the scene of office buildings in the central Tokyo from this room.

Review of the Executive Lounge

The lounge is located on the 37th floor. There are two areas across the hallway, one on the Bay View side and one on the City View side, and you can enter both. However, meals are only available in the area on the City View side.

Review of Fitness gym and swimming pool

On the 29th floor is the Suigetsu Spa & Fitness, where the gym area and pool are free for guests.

Note: the hours of operation listed here are what I saw when I was there in early September 2021. Due to the change of the COVID-19 situation, the hours is subject to change.

Gym area

It is equipped with running machines, common training machines (chest press, etc.), dumbbells, etc.

Training wear, shoes, and socks are also available for rent for a fee.

Guests can use the gym 24 hours a day, but training wear and other items are available for rent only during the staffs' working hours.

Pool

This 25-meter pool overlooks the office area.

Swimsuits are available for rent (for a fee), goggles for sale (← not for rent. Of course, there is a charge), and swim caps are available for rent (free of charge), just like the gym here.

Locker rooms, showers, etc.

The locker rooms have a luxurious feel, which sets them apart from other sports clubs in town.

Unusually for a sauna in a hotel, there are two types of saunas: a dry sauna and a wet sauna.
